Cura for the World Clinic
The average life expectancy for a Congolese national is 52 years old. This is significantly below the world average. Respiratory infections, malaria, prematurity and HIV/AIDs are among the top 5 causes of death. Many of these conditions are easily treatable, however access to quality, affordable healthcare services is a significant challenge.
Thanks to our partners at dōTERRA Healing Hands Foundation and Cura for the World we are proud to soon be opening the Cura for the World Clinic in Goma, Democratic Republic of the Congo. This clinic will offer free medical services with a full-time nurse and a doctor, shared with the Vickers One Clinic on Idjwi Island.
As the threat of ebola edges towards Goma, we are hesitant to schedule our first medical caravan to the Cura for the World Clinic. Sign up for more details on our upcoming caravan.
